Meet our new sales representative, Peter Groth!

What have you worked on before?
I have previously worked in roles such as machine operator, quality technician, order processor, team leader and quote processor in the cable industry.

Are you familiar with Sittab or the industry before?
I have followed Sittab a little at a distance since Patrik started as CEO and Alexander as a salesman, as I worked with them before. When it comes to the industry, I have a number of acquaintances who work in the forest industry and construction. I myself drove a loading machine in the army and I have driven a truck in previous jobs.

How come you applied for a job at Sittab?
I got a call from Patrik who told me he was looking for a salesperson. I didn't really have a plan to change jobs, but I like the industry and the Sittab have very good products, so I took the chance and applied for the job.

You've been working at Sittab for a few weeks now, what do your days look like and have you settled in?
My days are very varied, but mostly I answer requests for quotations and other questions that our customers have. Otherwise, I am out on customer visits or conducting various product trainings. This is also interspersed with larger projects where I work closely with the customer and our engineers to find the best solution for specific projects.

What challenges have you faced?
The biggest challenge was learning the names of all colleagues, but otherwise it's all about learning the product range and building long-term relationships with our customers.

What is the most fun part of the job?
That nothing is impossible. It is so much fun to be a salesperson when you can provide customized solutions and meet their needs. I also have very good colleagues who brighten my days. We have a lot of fun at work.

What are your objectives in your current role and at Sittab?
I want to create added value for our customers and help them grow together with us. Sittab. Win-win is something I strive for, in other words.

What do you do when you are not working?
Spend time with family and relatives. Fishing a bit but far too rarely. I also spend a lot of time in the garage where I tinker with cars, motorcycles, go-karts and anything else that needs to be repaired.
