Meet our new OEM sales representative, Alexander Heurlin!

What have you worked with before?

In my previous jobs, I have gained a lot of experience in many different industries, ranging from newspaper deliverer to nanny, security guard, truck driver, merchandiser, salesman and KAM.

Are you familiar with Sittab or the industry before?

No, never heard of Sittab before.

How come you applied for a job at Sittab?

It was in connection with my previous job, which resulted in a customer visit to Sittab with CEO Patrik Assmundson. Got a very positive impression of Sittab and their group company Addtech. So when I was asked to start working there, it was a very easy decision for me.

You have now worked at Sittab for a few weeks, how are the workdays going and have you settled into the work?

Full speed is a good analogy!

It's a smaller organisation than I'm used to, but on the other hand it's short decision-making paths and you're involved in many issues that affect the whole business, which suits me perfectly.

My days have been spent getting to know the products and services we offer our customers and partners, and I have also had time to travel around Europe to meet customers and participate in trade fairs etc.

What challenges have you faced so far?

The biggest challenge so far has been remembering everyone's name at work!
There are challenges every day but I see it as a positive thing, always wanting to improve and make work more fun and efficient for both Sittab as well as for our customers and partners.

What is the most fun part of the job?

I love to travel and this job really gives me the chance to explore the world and our amazing clients and their businesses. You never get too old to learn something new whether it's an armrest or a machine or why not different cultures in other countries.

What are your goals in your current role and at Sittab?

My main goal is to help Sittab become and be the supplier of choice for all our existing customers and future customers.
In my opinion (and many others) Sittab the world's best manufacturer of ergonomic and flexible products related to driver environments and we will only get better and better.

What do you do when you're not working?

I try to be a good partner and father to our children and when that is done I want to try to keep active with crossfit, golf, hockey and I play for Falu If's soccer veterans.
